We at Creekview Stables are working to make our site www.creekviewequestrian.com accessible to people with disabilities.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
1. Physical Facility Accessibility We strive to make our barn, grounds, and services as accessible as possible for visitors of all mobility levels. Wheelchair Access: Our main pathways, stable areas, viewing sections, and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Accessible Parking: Designated accessible parking spots are available near the main barn entrance with level access to main facility areas. Riding & Service Accommodations: We accommodate riders and guests with diverse physical capabilities. If you or a family member require specific accommodations for lessons, boarding visits, or photography sessions, please let us know in advance so we can prepare to support your needs smoothly. 2. Digital Accessibility Standards We aim to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards to ensure our website is accessible to individuals using screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies. Measures We Take Designing pages with clear headings, consistent structure, and high-contrast text for readability. Adding descriptive alternative text (alt text) to images of our horses, facilities, and photography galleries where possible. Ensuring interactive elements (such as contact forms and booking tools) are operable via standard keyboard controls. 3. Third-Party Content While we strive to make every page on our site accessible, some third-party tools embedded on our site (such as online scheduling software, payment processors, or embedded interactive maps) may be managed by external vendors. We actively encourage our providers to offer accessible, compliant interfaces.
